AdamsBickel successfully managed the renovation of fourteen common stairways throughout seven fully occupied buildings in a busy multifamily complex.
The conversion of the open stairways to enclosed tempered spaces required meticulous attention to logistics, cleanliness, and, foremost, safety for all the residents. A dedicated safety attendant was assigned to facilitate daily communication and assistance for the safety of the residents and subcontractors while maintaining a high level of cleanliness in the work areas. Clear safety signage with photos and contact information were strategically placed throughout the site giving the residents a sense of familiarity of the safety personnel and superintendent.
The comprehensive scope of the project included siding removal, framing, concrete, masonry, new windows, doors, frames with hardware, heaters, trim, electrical, paint, flooring, fire alarms, access controls, and security cameras throughout the complex.
Nestled in the vibrant town of Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, this contemporary four-story mixed-use building offers ten residential units above a retail/commercial ground floor. Designed with modern living in mind, the complex provides a range of amenities including secure access control, a comprehensive security camera system, well-lit private parking, and a prime location near shops, restaurants, and casino entertainment. Units include generously sized one- and two-bedroom apartments. The unfinished commercial space is available for a future fit-out.
AdamsBickel transformed the courtyard at Madison New Britain Apartments into a modern outdoor haven. We expanded the area from a
modest 400 sf to an impressive 2,300 sf, featuring two built-in barbeques and a cozy gas fire pit. The addition of exterior ambient lighting
enhances evening activities, creating the perfect atmosphere for residents to unwind. This project also included a new water retention system to accommodate the new facilities while preserving the surrounding environment and meeting the existing retention requirements. For added safety, we installed extra lighting and security cameras around the pool and courtyard, ensuring peace of mind for all residents.
This sixteen-floor renovation project is currently underway in the Rittenhouse Square section of Philadelphia. Upon completion, it will house eighty-eight apartments with a penthouse suite, amenity space, resident lounge, and fitness center. Substantial completion is expected this fall.
